Trex Hidden Fasteners
Trex Hidden Fasteners – one of several manufacturer approved methods of securing Trex composite deck boards to the deck support structure. 
Other fastening methods include surface screws, counter sunk screws with tap in plugs, metal clips and diagonal edge fastening. Trex fasteners automatically space the deck boards ensuring a precise uniform margin between each board. If a board ever requires replacing, the hidden fasteners can be loosened allowing replacement of the damaged board without injury to adjacent boards.

Trex hidden fasteners are made of tough and durable glass-filled nylon and have the following features.
- Compatible with all grooved Trex deck boards
- warranted for the life of the Trex deck boards they secure
- come with preset stainless steel screws
- black color that blends into the shadow line between each board
