Hip Roof
Hip Roof – A roof that rises by inclined planes from all four sides of a structure. The arrangement of the framing members in a hip roof make it naturally self bracing, this coupled with the absence of gable walls makes it less susceptible to wind damage than many other roof styles. One possible drawback of this roof design is diminished attic space.
