Dog Leg –
In construction, a term used to describe an element with one or more sharp angles such as the triangular area of eaves boxing at the lower area of a gable.
generic usage:
- an object, route, way, or course that turns at a sharp angle.
- an object or location having one or more sharp angles
- to proceed, as in walk, run or drive, around a sharp angle or along an angular or zigzag course
