Nail Flange

Nail Flange – a  thin semi-rigid flange extending from the outer edges of a vinyl or vinyl clad window or door frame. (may also be found on aluminum windows or aluminum clad windows and doors) The nail flange controls the depth that the window or door is inset into the wall and provides a means of securing the window or door into the rough opening.
